Jaggery is a sweetener that's a healthy replacement of refined sugar. Its often referred to as a superfood sweetener. Its a natural blood purifier, boost the immunity to fight against cold, flu etc.

One cup of moong dal cooked to softness mixed with one tbsp each of regular flour and rice flour, one tsp salt, formed a dough and kept aside.

In a pan cook one cup of grated coconut with three tbsp liquid jaggery and half cup of milk, once mixture thickens and solidifies a bit take it off stove and let it cool.

Form pindle shaped dumplings out of the lentil mixture the stuff with jaggery and fry in heated oil. Soak the extra oil and dip in thickened jaggery right before serving.
