Ragi Cookies

This recipe was made by Pritivi Sree (Instagram handle - @bakesnsautes)

1. Ragi Flour-1/2 cup
2. Wheat flour-1/2 cup
3. Organic jaggery 1/2 cup
4. Cold Butter-50 grams/1/2 cup
5. Baking powder -1 tsp 
6. Milk – 2 tbsp to knead the dough
7. Cinnamon powder-1/2 tsp

1. Sift the Ragi flour, wheat flour and baking powder together.
2. Add the cold butter to the flour mixture and mix it with your hand.
3.You will get a mixture that resembles breadcrumbs:
4. Add the powdered sugar or organic powdered jaggery or jaggery syrup and mix well.
5. Add one or two tablespoons of milk to make the dough softer. 
6. Roll the dough into a ball and refrigerate for half an hour.
7. After half a hour, divide the dough into small balls and flatten it on your palm to make round cookies.
8.Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Bake the cookies for 15-20 minutes at 180 °C.
9.Cool them on a wire rack and store in an airtight container.
