WHY CHOOSE TERRACOTTA?
- Nutritional Value : Cooking and eating in clay adds a host of natural vitamins and minerals like calcium, iron, phosphorous providing for a balanced meal that vitalizes your body and improves immunity.
- Eco-Friendly : Made from naturally occuring materials, terracotta doesn't last around for thousands of years nor does it make a massive ecological impact while being made, making it the perfect option for environmentally conscious people.
- pH Balance : Terracotta utensils have alkaline properties due to the abundance of clay in it, these alkaline elements can combine with the acids present in the food to neutralize the pH balance.
- Heat Retention Property : Due to retention of heat, there is no necessity of increasing the temperature. Thus uniform cooking can be done at considerably lower temperature. Meals cooked in a terracotta pot, when set aside with the lid on, retain heat and moisture for a long time without becoming soggy.
