Rediscovering our heritage

We aspire to create a community of craftspersons that can lead to a change in society and bring back the fading art forms from oblivion. A sustainable solution can transform the crafts showcasing their skill to the world.

Rivaayat is an initiative started by the students of Shri Ram College of Commerce to revive and sustain the age-old art form of Terracotta Pottery by empowering artisans and making them entrepreneurs. We aim to impact more such art forms under our ambit.

We connect the artisans directly with the consumers, incorporating contemporary designs to create a perfect blend of modernity and tradition, providing them with a platform to showcase their skills.

We believe in a holistic empowerment of artisans not limited to ensuring that are able to earn a living with their passion but aspire to make them self sustainable capable of performing diverse business activities.

The first time we saw a national award winner in handicrafts selling streetfood, we realized it was time to step up and support the artisans in the revival of our heritage.
